In keeping with their reputation for
being the premier aquarium on the Pacific Coast, when the Monterey Bay
Aquarium wanted top quality jewel tanks and viewing panels for their Mysteries
of the Deep expansion they called on Advanced Acrylic Display & Supply,
Inc., to do the job. Advanced Acrylics’ provided, and installed, eight
viewing panels in addition to fabricating the two jewel tanks below.

This
is a lookdown tank to exhibit a Hag Fish, from very deep and
cold water. All bond joints in the viewing area are Museum
Grade.

In
order to minimize condensation, both tanks were fabricated from
2" thick acrylic. Squat Lobster tank during hydro test.
