exhibits in the Research Facility's Interpretive Center, include
a large cylindrical Schooling Fish tank and an open top Touch
tank.

The
cylinder was fabricated from two half-cylinder panels
chemically bonded together. |
After
the first bond is made the cylinder was fitted with
eight legged "spiders" to hold the sections in
round for the second bond. |

After
the two halves were bonded together, all surfaces where sanded
and polished to remove any depressions, dimples, ridges,
and/or scratches. |
|
Prior
to packaging for shipment, the entire cylinder is buffed and
cleaned. |
|
Touch
Tank. Size: 128" long, 30" front-to-back, and
18" high. Capacity: 215 gallons. |
